Communications Division

The public safety telecommunications dispatcher serves as the processing point for virtually all telephone and radio communications entering or leaving the police department. Dispatchers perform highly responsible and stressful tasks while directing emergency units to where they are needed.

The department currently has seven full-time dispatchers and one part-time dispatcher.
